On June 5th, 2024, the Relearn Foundation, a GOI registered trust, organized a webinar to celebrate World Environment Day (WED’24). The event, hosted by Ms. Namrata Raj, Senior Manager at Relearn Foundation, featured a comprehensive program aimed at fostering environmental awareness and sustainability. The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Prabal Kumar Sen, Chairman of the Relearn Foundation and former Professor at XLRI, Jamshedpur. This was followed by the release of the annual report by Prof. Prabal Kumar Sen and Dr. Mita Tarafder, with Ms. Pritha Dhali providing an in-depth overview of the report’s highlights. Ms. Chandra Mukherjee, Assistant Vice President at HSBC India, spoke about the significance of World Environment Day, emphasizing ongoing and future environmental initiatives. Prof. Saji Varghese from Christ University delivered an insightful presentation on grassroots innovation and sustainability. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Ms. Chandra Mukherjee, summarizing the key points and expressing gratitude to all participants for their contributions and commitment to environmental conservation.
