Tutorship Training

The Relearn Foundation has developed a Tutorship Training Program to strengthen the teaching skills of tutors and mentor them to deliver experiential learning to students at Sahaaj Pathshala. The program also improves the quality of interaction among students, tutors, facilitators, and the organization, thereby enhancing the overall standard of education. The Trainers of Tutors (ToT) include experienced teachers, scientists, and other professionals.

The program, called Saturday Tutorship Training of Tutors (ST3), is conducted online every Saturday. It focuses on training tutors in how to teach subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and General Knowledge. Its aim is to standardize tutor performance and improve the learning experience of Sahaaj Pathshala students.

During the online ST3 sessions, tutors are given teaching assignments that encourage the use of innovative methods, including fun activities and games, to make learning more engaging for students. Tutors from Sahaaj Pathshalas submit weekly assignments in the form of videos or images through WhatsApp groups and share their experiences of conducting these activities in the following session.

In addition, contributions from the CSR project, particularly in the form of electronic gadgets, help connect tutors in remote Sahaaj Pathshalas, support the monitoring of classroom activities, and improve the overall quality of teaching.
