Students Visit Book Fair at Gulmohur High School, Jamshedpur

On 21st December 2024, Relearn Foundation took 12 children from Vijay Garden Center to a book fair at Gulmohar High School. The children were accompanied by Laxmi Dhibar and Laxmi Soren. The event was hosted by the school’s principal, Ms. Preeti Sinha, who invited both government school and NGO children to participate, fostering interaction with private school students. At the fair, the children attended a seminar that emphasized learning beyond textbooks and encouraged reading inspiring and enjoyable books. They were also introduced to the importance of libraries and the benefits of reading books from various sources to broaden their knowledge. Fun and engaging activities were organized, which the children participated in with enthusiasm, making learning a fun experience. Additionally, food stalls at the fair added to the children’s enjoyment. They had a wonderful time making new friends, exploring books, and experiencing a day full of excitement. The children returned to Vijay Garden Center by 12:30 PM, feeling inspired and motivated to read more and visit libraries to gain knowledge. The trip was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
