Priya Sahu’s Kadma Visit

On February 17th, 2025, a visit was made to Baba Loknath Path, Kadma Basti, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, where Mrs. Priya Sahu was tutoring a group of 10–15 students. She employs innovative teaching techniques to keep students engaged and motivated, offering incentives such as chocolates and gifts.

Mrs. Sahu also fosters informal interactions with parents, encouraging them to be involved in their children’s studies at home. This approach helps maintain consistency and provides essential support for the students’ learning. Additionally, she places significant emphasis on extracurricular activities such as drawing, dance, and plays, allowing students to express themselves creatively and develop skills beyond academics.

However, the books provided by students’ schools are considered insufficient. To address this, Mrs. Sahu goes the extra mile by incorporating additional learning materials to simplify complex concepts and make lessons more engaging.

Challenges persist due to the students’ backgrounds and local conditions, impacting their learning experiences. Addressing these issues with greater support and resources could enhance their educational journey. Despite these challenges, Mrs. Sahu’s approach is both comprehensive and nurturing, ensuring that students not only grasp academic concepts but also gain confidence and develop creatively. The learning environment she cultivates promotes a balanced development of academic and personal growth.
