On the occasion of International Literacy Day (September 8), 2026, a new free education center under the Sahaj Pathshala initiative was officially inaugurated. The initiative targets underprivileged children in the local community of Lalbazar, Bankura, West Bengal.
The center operates free of cost, serving young students from the local neighborhood. In the inaugural session, community organizers, local instructors, and around 15–20 children gathered for this event.Purnima Singh is current tutor of this classroom. Classroom operates in the evening, six days a week.
