On July 3rd, 2024, in celebration of International Plastic Bag Free Day, the Relearn Foundation, along with residents of Vijaya Gardens, launched a year-long initiative to promote reusable cloth bags and eliminate plastic bag usage. Participants are encouraged to donate old, strong clothing items such as dresses or sarees, which will be transformed into shopping cloth bags and given back to each family free of cost. Additionally, residents are asked to donate 5-10 clean plastic bags. This initiative aims to make the environment plastic bag-free, and interested individuals are invited to register for participation.
